Upon his mother Queen Elizabeth II's death in 2022, King Charles III became Britain's first male monarch in 70 years. Less than a year after his coronation, Charles announced in February 2024 that he had been diagnosed with an unspecified cancer. He has since resumed his royal duties, making trips across the United Kingdom and to Commonwealth nations to visit his subjects. See highlights from his reign.
