Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne photos: A look back at their rock 'n' roll love story

It's a love story for the ages. The Prince of Darkness , Ozzy Osbourne , naturally needed his Princess, Sharon, to walk alongside him in this life. Osbourne, who died July 22 at age 76, met his wife Sharon, in 1970 when her father, Don Arden, was managing Black Sabbath. The two married on July 4, 1982, and throughout their 43-year marriage, welcomed three children: Aimee Osbourne, Jack Osbourne and Kelly Osbourne. "We never gave up on each other. I mean, I wasn't a saint. Ozzy wasn't a saint. I gave him as good as he gave me," Sharon told People magazine in a September 2022 interview. "We're just meant to be." "Almost immediately, I began falling in love with (Sharon) from a distance," Ozzy wrote in his 2009 memoir, "I Am Ozzy." "It was that wicked laugh that got me. And the fact that she was so beautiful and glamorous — she wore fur coats and had diamonds dripping from everywhere." Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne were photographed together in 1984.
