See Taylor Swift's past loves before tying the knot with Travis Kelce

This throwback pairing dates back to the "Fearless" era, when Swift dated Joe Jonas (here about to perform the national anthem at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas on April 19, 2026) for about three months in 2008.

In a 2008 interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Swift said her stint with the Jonas Brother helped inspire the track "Forever & Always." She also revealed that Jonas ended their relationship over the phone and she later apologized for putting him on blast.

"You OK?" Swift writes on a notepad as she checks on Lucas Till's character through their windows in the iconic "You Belong With Me" music video. By the end, Till's jock character leaves his evil brunette cheerleader girlfriend, also played by Swift, to be with nerdy Swift at prom.

Their chemistry in the 3-minute, 48-second video manifested into a presumably longer real-world romance. In a 2009 MTV interview, Till (pictured here on April 10, 2009, in Hollywood, California) said that they dated "for a little bit."

"There was no friction because we were too nice. We just really both liked each other," he said. "I really just liked her as a friend. That's the only reason that didn’t work out."

Heading into the "Speak Now" era, Swift dated someone with the same first name, Taylor Lautner.

The two played a couple in the fall of 2009 in the romantic comedy "Valentine’s Day" before breaking up a few months later.

In a 2016 Q&A on Facebook Live, the "Twilight" star (pictured here with his wife, Tay Lautner) revealed that Swift wrote the track "Back to December" about him.

After collaborating on John Mayer's track "Half of My Heart," he and Swift were romantically involved, though it's unclear for how long.

In a 2012 Rolling Stone interview, Mayer criticized Swift for writing the track "Dear John" about him. The "Speak Now" track discusses the pain of a toxic relationship with an age gap. Swift was 19, and Mayer was 32 at the time of their involvement together and in "Dear John," Swift writes, "Don't you think 19 is too young to be messed with." The two performed on Dec. 11, 2009, at Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Fans still want that red scarf back.

During her "Red" era, Swift briefly dated in 2010, which later led to the belief that she wrote her staple track "All Too Well" about their romance.

"But you keep my old scarf from that very first week / 'Cause it reminds you of innocence and it smells like me," Swift writes in what many consider to be her greatest song.

After "Red (Taylor's Version)" was recorded in 2021, the "Brokeback Mountain" actor (pictured on March 3, 2026, in New York City) said in an Esquire interview that he doesn’t think the song concerns him.

"We never go out in style," Swift writes in her bedrock track "Style" off her pop bible "1989."

After meeting an award show in 2012, according to Rolling Stone, Swift dated Harry Styles for a few months while he was still a member of One Direction. Their second date was photographed in Central Park in New York City and, unsurprisingly, went viral.

The two reconnected at the 65th Grammy Awards at on Feb. 5, 2023, in Los Angeles, where Swift won best music video for "All Too Well: The Short Film" and Styles won album of the year for "Harry's House."

DJ Calvin Harris and Swift dated in 2015, first going public at that year's Billboard Music Awards where they were seen kissing.

In a 2016 Vogue cover story, Swift said, "I’m in a magical relationship right now. And of course I want it to be ours, and low-key this is the one thing that’s been mine about my personal life."

Following their split, Harris (on July 14, 2024, in Glasgow, Scotland) wrote in a social media post, "The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end," according to "Today." "What remains is a huge amount of love and respect.”

The "Getaway Car" track from the "Reputation" album has long been believed to be about Tom Hiddleston, whom Swift was seen kissing in June 2016.

The following month, the "Loki" actor (in London on April 12, 2026) told The Hollywood Reporter that the pair's romance was not a publicity stunt.

Swift's longest relationship lasted more than six years and spans five eras, including "Reputation," "Lover," "Folklore," "Evermore," and "Midnights."

She and actor Joe Alwyn dated from 2016 to 2023 and largely kept the details of their relationship private. They were also collaborators on several Swift songs, including "Exile" and "Betty," which won Grammys, off the album of the year winner "Folklore."

Alwyn, who went by the pseudonym William Bowery, also co-wrote the songs "Champagne Problems," "Coney Island," "Evermore" and "Sweet Nothing."

Many tracks from "Midnights" and "The Torchured Poets Department" are believed to be about Alwyn (above at Paris Fashion Week on June 23, 2026).
