"I think it's one for the Guinness Record books, because 'Georgie and Mandy' is a spinoff of 'Young Sheldon,' which was a spin off of 'The Big Bang Theory.' And that's happened before, where there have been three," she says. "But we've gone from a multi-camera in 'Big Bang' to a single camera in 'Young Sheldon' back to a multi-cam in 'Georgie and Mandy.'"

"When you first drive on the lot and you're coming in under that water tower, the whole thing feels incredibly magical," Channing Dungey says of working at Warner Bros.

When Dungey was named Chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. Television Group, she became the first woman and first Black executive in the role.

Dungey's sister, Merrin, is more comfortable in front of the camera, with roles in shows like 'Once Upon a Time' and 'The King of Queens.' "I'm a behind the scene person," Channing says.

The studio will release a new Harry Potter series next year, and Dungey already has a memento from the show. "It's a little iron brass cast of an owl," she says.

"There were definitely points on my journey where things seemed dark and sort of hopeless. I think everybody goes through those periods," says Dungey. "I just remind myself to keep going because the best way forward is always through."
