Families from across the United Stated celebrated Easter weekend. Though widely associated with the Easter Bunny, colorful eggs, and baskets of chocolate, it's a significant holiday for members of the Christian faith. The holiday commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ three days after he was crucified by the Romans around 30 A.D.Easter follows Lent, a 40-day season of prayer, and is a day after the last day of Holy Week (April 4), which began on March 29 this year.

The spring Easter Egg Hunt took place on April 4, 2026 at Factory 52 in Norwood. The event featured an Easter Egg Hunt, a bounce house, face painting and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
