Winfield House: Home away from home for US presidents when in London

Winfield House, is the townhouse in central London that serves as the official residence of the U.S. ambassador to the United Kingdom. It was donated to the US government by heiress Barbara Hutton after World War II. Presidents and dignitaries have hosted Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, now King Charles and other dignitaries. The home has been used for diplomatic missions and other events. President Trump will be staying Tuesday night during his three-day visit to the United Kingdom.
