With the Artemis II launch imminent, NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman and Victor Glover walk to board the astronaut van April 1 for their drive to launch pad 39B at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. It was the second spaceflight for both of them, and may be their last now that they're hanging up their spacesuits at NASA. One other astronaut on the mission, the Canadian Space Agency's Jeremy Hansen, also previously announced that he was stepping down as a CSA astronaut.

Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman sends a heart of loved ones as the crew leaves crew quarters at the Kennedy Space Center on April 1 while headed to Pad 39B for launch on an 10-day rendezvous with the moon. During the mission, the four-person crew flew farther from Earth than any human ever had while seeing sights of the moon's far side never seen in person.
