Southwest Airlines unveils new Walt Disney World plane, 50 days of vacation giveaways

Southwest Airlines and Walt Disney World are celebrating their 50th anniversaries in style.
They joined forces for this festive, co-branded Boeing 737-700 and Southwest 50 Days of Giveaways.
Every day until Nov. 16, sweepstakes participants have a chance to win a Disney World vacation for up to four people, including theme park tickets, lodging, Southwest flights and spending money. Fifty vacation packages will be given away in all.
No purchase is required. Entries can be submitted at Southwest.com/50days.

"Celebrating 50 years of making memories during our shared milestone anniversary is at the heart of this magical collaboration with the Walt Disney World Resort," Southwest Airline's public relations director Brandy King said in a statement.
This plane was unveiled at Southwest Airlines Technical Operations Hangar at Houston's William P. Hobby International Airport in Texas.
It will be used throughout Southwest's system through March, as Disney World's anniversary celebrations continue.
"The World's Most Magical Celebration" will run 18 months after kicking off on Oct. 1.

Mickey Mouse, Thumper, Piglet, Simba, Goofy, Pinocchio and Abu are among the beloved Disney characters featured on the plane's exterior.

Southwest celebrated its 50th anniversary in June.
