Planning a trip abroad? It's important to stay safe. The U.S. Department of State issues travel advisoriesintended to help travelers understand the risks involved in visiting certain countries. The advisories are ranked on a scale of 1 to 4, with level 1 being "Exercise Normal Precautions" and level 4 advising "Do Not Travel."
