Erin Jensen

Erin Jensen is TV reporter at USA TODAY, where she’s covered entertainment and pop culture for more than a decade. She keeps her antennae up for the most bingeworthy shows and documentaries to keep readers informed. Whether it’s checking into the “Summer House” or checking out the latest true-crime series, Erin aims to help readers answer that pesky and unrelenting question, “What should I watch?”

Erin, who received her Master's in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from Syracuse, has attended and reported on some of the biggest nights in the industry, including the Oscars, Golden Globes and Grammy Awards. Erin also saddles up for Austin’s annual SXSW festival.

Out of the hundreds of celebrities she’s interviewed, her favorite conversations are the ones in which she uncovers lessons we can all relate to, like what really matters most in this life, according to Oprah Winfrey, and how to overcome fear with Dolly Parton.

Erin partnered with USA TODAY to hold a nationwide search for a 2025 Valentine, inspired by one of her favorite rom-coms, “Sleepless in Seattle.” When she’s not covering TV, she’s likely enjoying a matcha latte or dreaming up her next craft project.
