She previously worked on the outlet's Fact Check Team and started her career as a breaking news reporter at The Arizona Republic. She has a master's degree in religious studies from the University of Virginia, as well as bachelor's degrees in both journalism and political science from Arizona State University. She is currently based in central Virginia.
