Andrés is based out of Los Angeles and covers pro, college, high school and amateur sports in SoCal. A graduate of California State University, Northridge, he was most recently a Digital Content Fellow at MLB.com, where he covered the Dodgers, the Angels and Padres throughout the 2025 season. Andrés has also written for the Los Angeles Times, where he covered the Rose Bowl, the Los Angeles Kings, the Los Angeles Sparks, USC men’s and women’s basketball and UCLA women’s basketball and softball. Prior to that, he was a podcast producer at ESPN. Andrés is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ).
