The Kelce brothers are rising to New Heights, this time in the literary world.

“Brothers, Super Bowl Champions, and now, published authors. That’s right, authors. Look, we’re as surprised as you are,” reads the tagline on their upcoming book.

“No Dumb Questions: And All of Our Dumbest Answers” by Jason and Travis Kelce publishes June 2 from William Morrow, an imprint of HarperCollins. In a transcript-style format similar to their popular podcast, “New Heights,” the brothers banter while answering questions from fans about life, hypotheticals and football (they have four Super Bowl wins between them).

It's a busy year for the Kelces, with Jason continuing his post-NFL career as an ESPN analyst and Travis entering his 14th season with the Kansas City Chiefs and planning his wedding to superstar Taylor Swift.

In an excerpt shared exclusively with USA TODAY, the Kelce brothers reveal which books they would bring to a deserted island.

Brothers and professional football players Jason and Travis Kelce are adding "authors" to their resume.

What are three books you guys would like to have if you were stranded on a desert island?

92%er: @ohkeilaknows via X

JASON: What’s the longest book that we know? Some encyclopedia, to have plenty of toilet paper.

TRAVIS: Okay.

JASON: All right. Two more.

TRAVIS: Yes. Gotta have three.

JASON: A survival book . . . like any book that would help me survive on this island for any period of time.

TRAVIS: Tom Clancy.

JASON: I do not think Tom Clancy is gonna be any help to you on the desert island. Like, Escaping off a Desert Island for Dummies.

TRAVIS: How to Build a Raft.

JASON: Yeah, there’s gotta be some book that’s been written by somebody that is like How to Get off of This Insanely Terrible Predicament.

TRAVIS: Dude.

JASON: I’m not f------ reading Harry Potter on the deserted island.

"No Dumb Questions" by Jason and Travis Kelce is out June 2.

TRAVIS: I’ll go with a How to Make a Raft book. And then I’d do something that I could try and perfect on the island. Does this island have golf?

JASON: It’s a deserted island!

TRAVIS: . . . that could have golf on it.

JASON: No, it couldn’t. Golf courses do not exist in nature. Are you saying it used to contain civilization and is now deserted?

TRAVIS: Was there once energy on this island? Are there batteries? Are there solar panels?

JASON: Travis, you are not making . . .

TRAVIS: Bro, being deserted on a deserted island back in the fifties is way different than nowadays. Everyone’s bought up all the islands.

JASON: Yeah.

TRAVIS: There’s no island unbought right now. So, there could be, like, treasures everywhere …
