Kim Kardashian channels Kris Jenner at Paris Fashion Week with new pixie hairstyle

Kim Kardashian is taking a page out of the Kris Jenner style book.

The reality-TV star and media mogul, 44, traded in her long dark mane for a sleek pixie hairstyle. And the bold look bears a striking resemblance to Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner, who has been known to rock a similar hairdo.

Kardashian has been showing off the hair transformation while attending Paris Fashion Week. "The Kardashians" star was spotted at The Business of Fashion 500 Gala on Saturday, Oct. 4, where she was honored as a new member of the BOF 500 cohort of fashion tastemakers.

Kardashian wore a skin-tight white dress with a halter bodice for the event. In the hair department, the Skims founder kept things simple, with her pixie style combed forward and her wispy bangs falling neatly over her face.

Kardashian opened up about her latest fashion venture, the NikeSkims athleisure line, ahead of the BOF 500 Gala.

"I wanted it to have the credibility that Nike has, and I wanted the customer to have this feeling that they're going to get a really strong Skims product," Kardashian told BOF senior correspondent Sheena Butler-Young. "I don't measure it just on sales. I measure a lot of it on the cultural impact that it would have."

For the Kardashian clan, Kim Kardashian's latest style incarnation has that je ne sais quoi.

In addition to her appearances at Paris Fashion Week, Kardashian displayed her pixie look in a series of recent Instagram posts.

On Oct. 4, Kardashian shared a glamorous close-up photo of herself that showed off the short hairdo. "PARIS PIXIE," she captioned the post.

Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner, seemingly gave her stamp of approval, commenting with a GIF of herself that showed Jenner staring off chicly in a white button-down shirt and aviator sunglasses.

Kardashian's new look received more family love in a follow-up post that same day, which showed Kardashian modeling a sheer black Alaïa dress.

"Okkkk baby KJ," wrote Kardashian's sister Khloé Kardashian, playfully referencing the Jenner resemblance.
