Blake Shelton has something to say about those Gwen Stefani divorce rumors
Clare MulroyBlake Shelton is clearing the air – he and Gwen Stefani aren’t going anywhere.
The “Stay Country or Die Tryin’” singer responded to divorce rumors while co-hosting Country Countdown USA on Jan. 10.
“I started noticing these articles popping up about Blake and Gwen, they’re splitting up, they’re not even seeing each other, they’re going through a divorce,” Shelton said. “Then a week later, a picture comes out of us walking out of a grocery store. ‘They’re back together!’”
Stefani and Shelton have been married since 2021 and began dating in 2015 after meeting as judges on “The Voice.”

After divorce rumors, Blake Shelton doesn’t believe ‘anything’ he sees online
Shelton said his piece after Country Countdown USA host Lon Helton told the singer he’s a “tough guy to Google” to find what’s true and what’s gossip.
“I see pictures of Gwen and I on social media that I really go, ‘That looks so real’ but I know that I don’t even own that shirt. Or whose car is that?” Shelton said. “Man, I don’t believe anything anymore that I see on the internet. And I mean nothing. I just don’t believe it.
In April 2024, Stefani also addressed divorce rumors in a “Nylon” interview, saying that she is “in love with her best friend.” She also admitted she is still affected by insecurities and “overthinking.”
"When you're in love and have truly aligned values, nobody can get to us," the "Hollaback Girl" singer said. "You can say whatever you want to say about our relationship – I mean, a week ago we were getting divorced again or something. It's just lies. The truth is the truth, and we know what that is…"
Shelton soon heads to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, where he'll host an eight-show residency beginning Jan. 15. Stefani will do the same in May for a limited residency at the Sphere with No Doubt.
