Bianca Censori speaks out for first time, compares Ye issues to 'doing CPR'
Anna KaufmanBianca Censori, the elusive wife of rapper Ye, is setting the record straight.
Censori, who wed Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, in 2022, was eager to point out in an interview with Vanity Fair that neither she nor her husband were antisemitic. In recent years, Ye has courted controversy for his tirades on social media, business ventures widely viewed as antisemitic and even comments about having "dominion" over his wife.
"The fact that antisemitism is mainstream is terrifying," she told Vanity Fair. "[Ye] met with a rabbi recently. You know, he has to go through his process in how he amends that, and I'm here to support and love and be with him. I love him so much. We're like the same person."

The rapper recently took out a page in the Wall Street Journal to apologize for the comments. In it, Ye revealed that he sought treatment at a rehab facility in Switzerland for a brain injury. Censori said she went into an in-patient treatment around the same time.
"All I can do is always just be there and help," Censori told the outlet. "This year was a lot like doing CPR for months. I have the love and empathy for him to be able to do that, and I understand that the world doesn’t."
Bianca Censori addresses Grammys naked dress
The Australian artist, who heads up the architecture department at Ye's company, Yeezy, talked to the outlet about criticism of her marriage – and that she was the most Googled woman in the world in 2025. That may be, in part, due to the near-nude stunt she pulled alongside Ye at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
"I'm trying not to sound like I'm bragging, but it is not a position that anybody in time has ever had that much visibility without speech," Censori told the outlet. "If it was just nudity, a lot of people would have that. But it also proves in a time that was so overexposed and vulnerable, that mystery still has power."

Known for leaning into the so-called "naked dressing" trend, Censori said: "I had an obvious obsession with nudity. … I was naked everywhere. I didn't detach with it at any point."
As for her romance with Ye, it grew after his ex-wife Kim Kardashian filed for divorce citing, in part, his frequent mental breakdowns.
"You're spending so much time with somebody. So we'd be either on the phone together or with each other all the time," she said of their budding relationship. "We’re so similar."
Censori said she "didn't marry my husband because I wanted some sort of platform. I married him because I love him. Is that like the corniest thing ever?"

Bianca Censori says Ye does not control her
Censori also addressed rumors that her husband treats her like a doll he controls. "I wouldn't be doing something I didn't want to do ... Me and my husband would work on my outfits together," she said.
"I don't really care," she said of what people think of her. "I always just think, They'll get it someday. And if they don't, they don't. As long as I'm able to express myself to my full potential, that's all that matters to me."
