Queen Camilla's U.S. trip alongside King Charles got a boost of star power when she met some iconic New York City celebrities during the royals' stop in Manhattan.

The queen consort attended events hosted by her literacy charity, The Queen’s Reading Room, at the New York Public Library on Wednesday, April 29.

Among the approximately 100 guests were "Sex and the City" and "And Just Like That…" star Sarah Jessica Parker and former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Together with Chief Librarian Brian Bannon, Camilla and Parker viewed a selection of items from the library's collection that commemorate the nation's 250th anniversary as well as the U.S.-U.K. relationship since the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Speaking to reporters at the event, Parker, known for her patronage of literature and the New York City literary community, applauded the queen for her work with her U.K.-based charity.

"She seems to love reading just as much as us readers do," she said, in a light pink coat over a white polka dot dress.

Parker is a self-described "lifelong reader turned publisher" who started the literary imprint SJP Lit, which is under independent publisher Zando Projects.

For Anna Wintour, who donned a gray plaid blazer paired with a matching calf-length skirt, the dim lighting inside the library was no match for her signature black shades.

The queen's visit, which in part celebrated the library's expansive collection and Winnie-the-Pooh's 100th birthday, also involved a panel with Jenna Bush Hager, Harlan Coben and Min Jin Lee, according to Buckingham Palace.

As she toured the library's Treasures Collection, Camilla read an excerpt from "Winnie-the-Pooh" to local public school students while accompanied by Jim Cummings, who voiced Pooh in the original films and TV shows.

Camilla left the library with a special gift: a Roo doll from the original U.K. manufacturer of the toys, completing the displayed collection commemorating the beloved children’s story.

What have Queen Camilla and King Charles done in New York?

After two days in Washington, DC – a stop that included a state dinner at the White House and an address to members of Congress – Charles and Camilla headed to New York on April 29.

Their day began with a solemn visit to the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, which involved a meeting with families of victims and first responders. They also spoke with New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherill and New York Gov. Kathy Hochul.

While his wife attended her event at the library, Charles visited an urban farm in Harlem, where he toured Harlem Grown, planted seeds, fed chickens and met with local schoolchildren.

As day turned to night, they were scheduled to attend the Greater Together Reception, in partnership with Charles' charity the King’s Trust. The gala aims to showcase "the U.K.'s cultural impact on New York through the arts, sports and community initiatives, including the work of King’s Trust America to transform the lives of young people."

Actors Nina Dobrev, Meghann Fahy and Leo Woodall, as well as models Jasmine Tookes and Karlie Kloss, entrepreneurs Martha Stewart and Charlotte Tilbury, and singer Lionel Richie were among the attendees, alongside Wintour.
