Paris Jackson gets ultrasound after comments about her 'weird' neck
Paris Jackson is keeping an eye on her health with help from an unlikely source.
The singer and daughter of the late Michael Jackson revealed that she recently had testing done after social media commentators pointed out what they believed to be an abnormal appearance of her neck.
"Getting an ultrasound to check out my lymphs since y'all pointed out how weird my neck looked on my last post," she wrote on an Instagram story video of the procedure Saturday, May 16, according to People magazine.
In a follow-up, per People, the 28-year-old model said "a bunch of people pointed out" her neck looks "weird," which caused her to start "freaking out."
The "American Horror Stories" actress said, in an abundance of caution, that she had "someone come to my rehearsal studio and do an ultrasound on my throat" as well as gotten blood work done, all of which came back normal.

But the singer added that the comments had her concerned about her voice, especially as she prepares for an upcoming performance in Napa, California. She added, "My neck just does weird [stuff] when I talk. I think this is just my neck, and y'all are freaking me out, thinking there's something wrong."
In another video posted Sunday, Jackson confirmed there is "just the slightest amount of redness on my vocal cords, but there's no calluses from singing." She continued, "I have exercised those muscles from singing for so long, and that just happens with singers. It's just more obvious in me because I am skinny."
Jackson, the daughter of Michael Jackson and his ex-wife Debbie Rowe, has come into her own as a singer, releasing her debut solo album "Wilted" in November 2020 in addition to extended plays in 2020 and 2022. Her latest project and single, "Teenage Drama," is set for release Friday, May 22.
