New Diddy claims under review by district attorney in Los Angeles
KiMi RobinsonAs Sean "Diddy" Combs serves a 50-month prison sentence for federal sex crimes charges, he is now the subject of a criminal probe across the country.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office has been presented with a case involving Combs, which "is under review," spokesperson Venusse Dunn confirmed to USA TODAY on Monday, June 1.
TMZ reported that the case involves Jonathan Hay's allegations that Combs, 56, sexually battered him in two incidents in 2020 and 2021. Detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department reportedly investigated the music publicist's claims before submitting the case to the district attorney for possible criminal charges.
USA TODAY reached out to Combs' representatives for comment.
On July 2, Combs was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution — charges related to former girlfriends Casandra "Cassie" Ventura Fine and "Jane," who both testified during his two-month trial.

In the bombshell split decision, a 12-person jury acquitted Combs of the most serious charges, which were racketeering and two counts of sex trafficking. Combs' lawyers are seeking to overturn his conviction.
Combs is currently scheduled to be released from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey on Feb. 23, 2028.
