Jane Seymour remains playfully elusive about engagement rumors.

During an appearance on "Today with Jenna & Sheinelle" Wednesday, June 10, the 75-year-old actress sparked engagement speculation after appearing with a diamond ring on her left ring finger. When asked whether she was engaged or married to her partner of nearly three years, musician John Zambetti, Seymour sidestepped the question.

"I am wearing a moi et toi ring, which he gave me," Seymour responded. "It's like a vintage one, but when I had it made in my size, I was told that Napoleon designed it for Josephine."

The "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" star was similarly evasive Tuesday, June 9, in an interview with InStyle.

"All I can say right now is that we are very happy together," Seymour said. "We've been together almost three years. And if or when there is a reason to announce, it will happen. But right now, we are really, really happy where we are. I just wish that anyone could be as lucky as I am."

Seymour's four previous marriages ended in divorce.

French for "me and you," the moi et toi design features two stones set side by side, symbolizing a couple. The style became famous in 1796 when Napoleon Bonaparte reportedly gave Joséphine de Beauharnais a two-stone engagement ring.

"What I really love, it has diamonds here going towards the main one," Seymour said. "Instead of a solitaire, I am not alone, we are together, and we had a life before."

The actress appeared on the program to promote Season 5 of her Acorn TV series "Harry Wild," which reunites her with former "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" co-star Joe Lando. The actors played love interests in the '90s Western drama.

"Our chemistry is even better now because we really got to know each other very well when Joe lost his home in the [Pacific Palisades] fire. He and his family lived with us for 7 weeks," she told the "Today" hosts. "The two of us know how to work together. He's just fantastic on the show."
