Travis Kelce's friend says Taylor Swift wedding can't come fast enough

June 26, 2026, 4:52 p.m. ET

The wedding of the century can't come fast enough, at least according to comedian Druski.

In an Extra interview published June 24, the content creator opened up about attending buddy Travis Kelce and fiancée Taylor Swift's upcoming nuptials.

"I'm just ready for the wedding," the 31-year-old said. "We'll see what happens at the wedding."

Responding to reports about the wedding taking place at New York City's Madison Square Garden, Druski claimed he didn't know "where the wedding's going to be."

Druski poses on the NFL Honors Red Carpet before Super Bowl LX in San Francisco on Feb. 5, 2026.

"I just heard that it's happening," he said. 'I'm glad for them."

"They are two lovebirds that are in love with each other and they're really good people and I'm excited to see what's going to happen," Druski added.

Druski was among the group of men who joined Kelce for various excursions around California, including a Chris Lake concert and a NASCAR race, last week.

All roads appear to lead to Madison Square Garden

Though neither the famous pair nor the Garden have confirmed that a wedding, much less their wedding, will take place in at the indoor arena, USA TODAY confirmed that permits have been filed to shut down city streets near the venue from July 2 through July 4, as well as for an event with capacity for several hundred attendees.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs attend Game Three between the New York Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals at Rocket Arena on May 23, 2026.

The request includes capacity for between 500 and 999 people, tents outside of Madison Square Garden, and street closures near Madison Square Garden.

According to New York City Hall spokesperson Dora Pekec, permitting for street closures span only the area near the Garden, not several city blocks, and that it's not uncommon for events of potentially similar size to apply for permits.

The venue would also provide seclusion for their celebrity guest list as it has an underground ramp to the arena that would allow them private access away from cameras.
