The Abbey Resort

A brunch buffet is served from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the 240 West restaurant. Alpine Valley Resort

Bacchus will serve a three-course brunch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entrées include eggs Benedict, Iberian pork cutlet, berry French toast, filet medallions, wagyu steak and eggs, and sautéed salmon. Cost: $75 for adults, $25 for children (12 and under).

The Commodore will offer a brunch buffet from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Morning starters include kringle, fresh fruit, a parfait bar, pastries, charcuterie, seafood and salads. Additional stations with made-to-order omelets, shrimp cocktail, carved prime beef strip loin, and bacon-wrapped chicken breast; a hot line with brioche French toast, scrambled eggs, smoked bacon, country sausage, fried chicken and waffles, mustard-glazed salmon, roasted red potatoes, and baked macaroni and cheese. Desserts include chocolates, truffles, macarons, tarts, and a mini doughnut bar. Cost: $90 per adult, $25 per child (4-12).

The Grain Exchange will offer a brunch buffet from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with a complimentary mom-osa for all mothers. Food stations feature appetizers, seafood, made-to-order omelets, traditional breakfast sides, carved beef and pork loin, and entrees of chicken piccata, cedar plank salmon, cheesy orecchiette pasta, sautéed broccolini, kale salad, focaccia and breadsticks. The dessert station includes s’mores, cupcakes, cookies, bars, tarts, eclairs and cheesecake. The kids' station has pigs in blanket, scrambled eggs, Belgian waffles, chicken tenders and fresh fruit. Harbor House will serve a three-course menu from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. A breakfast menu is served until 2 p.m. and includes waffles, eggs Benedict with ham or seafood, asparagus and mushroom frittata, or lobster avocado toast. All-day entrées include South African lobster tails, Alaskan halibut, Atlantic salmon, New York strip, sea scallops, filet mignon, prime rib roast, or surf & turf combinations. Joey Gerard’s offers a brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The buffet menu includes appetizers, chef-made omelets and eggs, chef-carved roast, and hot entrees of bourbon-glazed chicken, barbecue ribs, herb-mustard salmon, breakfast sausage, bacon, breakfast potatoes and French toast sticks. The dessert station offers fresh fruit, brownies, cookies, macaroons, eclairs and cheesecakes. A children’s station features chicken tenders, french fries, and buttered noodles. Lake Park Bistro will serve a three-course menu from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Entrées include quiche Lorraine with potatoes and salad, brioche French toast with berries, Scottish salmon with potatoes, spring lamb stew, a filled buckwheat crepe topped with sunny-side up eggs, a grilled hangar steak with bistro fries, eggs Benedict with Berkshire ham and potatoes, or breaded chicken breast with potatoes and salad. Mr. B’s Steakhouse in Brookfield offers a three-course brunch menu from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entrées include steak and eggs, a ham and cheese omelet, chicken and waffles, eggs Benedict, ribeye, salmon, ham and spinach quiche, brioche French toast, filet mignon, and veggies hash. Prices based on choice of entrée.

Mr. B’s Steakhouse in Mequon offers a three-course brunch menu served from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The featured entrées include steak and eggs, smoked salmon frittata, Manhattan strip steak, country ham Benedict, quinoa power bowl, rainbow trout, dark chocolate babka French toast, filet mignon, and chicken and waffles. Prices based on choice of entree.

Ristorante Bartolotta dal 1993 will serve a three-course brunch from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Entrées include wide-ribbon pasta with red-wine-braised duck ragu, baked Italian frittata, a seared filet of beef with scrambled eggs, spaghetti with sautéed shrimp, French toast with berries, pan-seared chicken breast, creamy risotto, eggs Benedict with roasted potatoes, and pan-roasted salmon. The Bavarian Bierhaus

A brunch buffet is served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with music by Polka Steve, and a free beer or mimosa for all mothers. The menu features goulash, spätzle, smoked German breakfast sausage, chicken cordon bleu, pancakes, smoked bacon, scrambled eggs, an omelet station, mixed vegetables, a salad bar, and a sweets table. Benson’s Restaurant Group

Each of the five downtown restaurants have special menu items for Mother’s Day. The Edison at 322 N. Broadway is serving from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. offering classic brunch entrées such as quiche Lorraine ($14) and coffee cake ($8). The Bridgewater at 2011 S. 1st St. is serving from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with brunch favorites available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A brunch entree special is the French toast bake ($22) with sourdough, blueberry, walnut, Grand Marnier whipped cream cheese, and bacon. Smoke Shack at 332 N. Milwaukee St. is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with comfort-food classics and a Mother’s Day Plate ($20) of grilled chicken breast, with mashed potatoes, chicken gravy, and grilled carrots. Blue Bat Kitchen at 249 N. Water St. is serving from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with brunch and dinner specials. Menu items include a grilled peach burrata salad ($11) with herb vinaigrette, and a seared halibut dinner ($19) with fried potatoes and cilantro agave rice. Onesto at 221 N. Broadway features pasta on the menu from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. such as the al limone ($22), and dinner entrees such as grilled branzino ($35), and a Faroe Island salmon ($30). The Capital Grille

A two-course prix fixe brunch menu is offered beginning at 10 a.m. Main course selections include lobster frittata with butter-poached lobster tails, truffle hollandaise, asparagus and white cheddar hash brown; 8-ounce center cut filet mignon with soft fried egg, truffle hollandaise, asparagus and white cheddar hash brown; and pan-seared salmon, with citrus crab salad and red chili vinaigrette. Food stations feature carved prime rib, tenderloin tips, spiral baked ham, lemon pepper baked chicken, country style chipotle ribs, and cod with roasted red pepper cream sauce. A brunch buffet of Italian classics and signature dishes is served from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the rooftop restaurant. The menu includes a carving station with brick-oven-charred Scottish salmon, baked honey-glazed ham, crushed herb- and sea-salt-crusted ribeye, and Italian specialties such as dry-aged meatballs, rosemary brick chicken, and a variety of house-made pastas. Great Lakes Ballroom at The American Club will host a champagne brunch buffet from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Food stations feature pasta salads, fruit, orzo or classic potato salads, grilled vegetables, chef-carved smoked ham or striploin, a seafood bar, smoked meats, and an egg station with eggs Benedict, scrambles and omelets. Desserts include a Cocoa Pebbles French toast, vanilla creme, and pastries. The kids have a food station menu of French toast sticks, scrambled eggs, macaroni and cheese, and chicken tenders. Blackwolf Run will serve brunch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The buffet stations include vegetable, chicken, three-grain, or couscous salads; shrimp cocktail, charcuterie and fresh fruit and vegetables; and made-to-order omelets, carved beef tenderloin and pork loin, and a children’s buffet. Entrées include red-wine-braised chicken, grilled citrus salmon, avocado toast, and smoked bacon and sausage links. The Wisconsin Room will serve brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The buffet menu includes signature juices and house specialties such as watermelon or spinach salad, French toast bread pudding, Norwegian cod, and Wisconsin macaroni and cheese; and brunch classics of deviled eggs, breakfast potatoes or cheese hash, hummus and dips, fresh fruit, yogurt and granola, chilled seafood, and charcuterie. Lake Lawn Resort

1878 on the Lake offers a Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The buffet food stations include build-your-own salad, fruits, pasta, bakery, charcuterie, Greek yogurt, seafood, made-to-order omelets and chef-attended stuffed French toast, carved prime rib and pork loin. Featured entrées include roasted salmon, beef short rib ragu, roasted rosemary orange chicken, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. Old Town Serbian Gourmet Restaurant

Canal Street Café offers a brunch buffet from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a complimentary mimosa for Mom. SALA

The east side Sicilian restaurant will offer a special three-course menu. The meal starts with a red beet cured salmon salad, with roasted beets, arugula, red onion, sun-dried tomato fromage, capers, croutons, and lemon poppyseed vinaigrette. The main course choices are shrimp and scallop caramelle with asparagus, slow braised short ribs with spinach, or filet mignon with asparagus and roasted potatoes. Tre Rivali

The Mother’s Day menu at the Tre Rivali includes the Little Gem Caesar prepared with crispy breadcrumbs.

The restaurant inside the Kimpton Jouneyman Hotel is offering a brunch buffet from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Menu highlights include Ottoman-spiced beef tri-tip, carved chicken shawarma, roasted salmon with lemon and herbs, and basmati rice with toasted almonds and pomegranate.
