It was date night for Leonardo DiCaprio at the 2026 Oscars.

The 51-year-old actor was spotted sitting in the front row with his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, 27, at the 98th Academy Awards, where DiCaprio was vying for the best actor award for Paul Thomas Anderson's "One Battle After Another." Michael B. Jordan ultimately took the honor for "Sinners."

Others in the race included Timothée Chalamet ("Marty Supreme"), Wagner Moura ("The Secret Agent"), and Ethan Hawke ("Blue Moon"). DiCaprio last won the best actor award at the 2016 ceremony for "The Revenant."

DiCaprio and Ceretti, who have been together since 2023, according to Vogue, prefer to keep their relationship largely out of the spotlight, though they have attended several high-profile events together, including the 2025 Met Gala.

The actor previously brought his mother, Irmelin Indenbirken, 82, as his date to the 2026 Golden Globe Awards and the BAFTAs.

In an April 2025 cover story for Vogue France, Ceretti revealed the couple first met in Milan, but said in French that she preferred "not to go into details."

"As soon as you're in a relationship with someone who has a larger following than you, you become 'girlfriend of'—or 'boyfriend of,' for that matter. And that can be extremely annoying," Ceretti told the outlet in French. "Suddenly, people are talking about you as so-and-so's girlfriend who was so-and-so's ex."

Leonardo DiCaprio walked Oscars red carpet without Vittoria Ceretti

While DiCaprio enjoyed the ceremony with Ceretti by his side, he earlier posed for cameras on the red carpet solo in a black tuxedo paired with a white shirt.

The look was accessorized with a Rolex watch and a bee pin on the tux's collar, which is a nod to bee:wild, a "global movement to protect pollinators and restore the wild spaces they depend on," under the Re:wild umbrella, of which DiCaprio is a founding board member.

As for his timepiece, DiCaprio is a brand ambassador for Rolex.

The star of the look, however, was DiCaprio's chevron mustache. Ceretti, meanwhile, wore a burgundy dress, with her hair done in a tight, slick-back bun.
