Elizabeth Holmes' partner addresses 'You Can See Everything' nude scene
Brendan MorrowBilly Evans is ready to say everything.
Elizabeth Holmes' partner, who was featured prominently in the hit Nathan Fielder documentary "You Can See Everything," has addressed several aspects of the film in a series of X posts.
The businessman solicited questions from followers about the buzzy movie, one of which pertained to its graphic nude scene. At one point in the documentary, Evans is shown fully nude in the shower.
When an X user suggested this scene "doesn't happen unless you want it to," Evans described that as a "false narrative." In response to another post about the scene, Evans linked to a People magazine article, which cited a source who said the shower scene was not Evans' idea and that he was under the impression it would be kept PG.
"Trust the 'sources,'" Evans wrote, implying the People article is accurate.

"You Can See Everything" co-director Lance Oppenheim previously told GQ that the shower scene was Evans' idea.
"We were in the car ride on the way back from the gym and I said to Billy, 'We will give you some time to shower,'" Oppenheim said. "And Billy responded, 'Want to film me showering?' I offered to film him in a way that could avoid seeing his genitals, but Billy said he didn't care about being seen naked."
USA TODAY has reached out to A24, the film’s distributor, for comment.
"You Can See Everything" chronicles Holmes' final days before going to prison in 2023 for defrauding investors in connection with her company Theranos, which promised revolutionary blood-testing technology that turned out to not work as she claimed.
Evans, who has been romantically involved with Holmes since 2017 and shares two kids with her, is a key character in the documentary, particularly in the second half of the movie that takes place while Holmes is in prison and no longer accessible by the camera crew.

Billy Evans addresses drug speculation, relationship with Elizabeth Holmes
Elsewhere in his X posts, Evans denied that he was using cocaine during the documentary's filming, as some viewers had speculated.
"Never been a fan," he wrote in regards to cocaine, and he said in another post that he was sniffling on camera at certain points because of sickness and allergies. "Allergies in Austin TX are no joke," he wrote.

Evans also denied the movie's suggestion that he is controlling of Holmes.
"Anyone who actually knows her would find that idea hilarious," he said. "She's fiercely independent, strongwilled, and my best friend. We are partners in every sense. We challenge each other, disagree, and face the world together."
"You Can See Everything" has been a huge hit at the box office and is expected to be a player in the Oscar race.
Because the movie was shot over the course of several years, Evans said that "thousands of hours" of footage did not make the final cut.
For one, according to him, Fielder interviewed Holmes' parents after she went to prison, but this was not included in the final film.
But overall, when Evans was asked if he regrets participating in the documentary, he said, "Not at all."
