Cue the music. The Grammy Awards are upon us.

Celebrating the "best in music," the Grammys, now in its 68th year, are organized by the Recording Academy, which, according to a news release, "is preparing for another historic night that will see dynamic performances, new categories, and can't-miss moments."

"We do not exhale. We’re always holding our breath trying to create one of the most complicated shows and focus on celebrating music," Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. told USA TODAY this month.

For the second year in a row, Kendrick Lamar dominates as a leading nominee, including nods for record and song of the year for "Luther," his duet with tour partner SZA, as well as album of the year for "GNX," his fifth studio album.

Grammy Award trophies are seen in the press room during the 64th Annual Grammy Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 3, 2022.

Following closely behind is Lady Gaga and producers Cirkut and Jack Antonoff with seven nominations, as well as songwriter-turned-artist Leon Thomas, producer/engineer Serban Ghenea, pop princess Sabrina Carpenter and Super Bowl headliner Bad Bunny with six.

The varied lineup of top nominees represents the Recording Academy's efforts to diversify its nearly 15,000 voting members.

With one of the biggest nights in music almost here, here's everything to know about the Grammys, including how to watch and who's performing.
