All of the World Cup performers, from opening ceremonies to halftime show
Melina KhanThe stars will be showing out at the FIFA World Cup this summer with several planned performances at the high-profile soccer tournament.
Several big-name artists are slated to hit the World Cup stage to perform for audiences at multiple opening ceremonies, as well as a first-of-its-kind halftime show during the final game.
The final halftime show, which will take place July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, will be the tournament's first in its nearly 100-year history.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, who is helping produce the halftime show along with nonprofit Global Citizen, announced the lineup in an Instagram video on May 14.
Separately, earlier in May, FIFA announced performers for three different opening ceremonies that will be held in each of the host countries – the United States, Mexico and Canada.
The 2026 World Cup will be played from June 11 to July 19.

Each opening ceremony will feature performances from musicians representing the host nations and their opponents. Here's a full list:
United States

The United States will face Paraguay in its opening match of the World Cup on Friday, June 12.
The pre-game ceremony will take place 90 minutes before kickoff, which is at 7:30 p.m. ET. It will include performances by:
- Katy Perry
- Future
- Anitta
- LISA
- Rema
- Tyla
Canada

Canada will face Bosnia and Herzegovina in its opening match of the World Cup on Friday, June 12.
The pre-game ceremony will take place 90 minutes before kickoff, which is at 1:30 p.m. ET. It will include performances by:
- Alanis Morissette
- Alessia Cara
- Elyanna
- Jessie Reyez
- Michael Bublé
- Nora Fatehi
- Sanjoy
- Vegedream
- William Prince
Mexico
Mexico will face South Africa in its opening match of the World Cup on Thursday, June 11.
The pre-game ceremony will take place 90 minutes before kickoff, which is at 12:30 p.m. ET. It will include performances by:
- Alejandro Fernández
- Belinda
- Danny Ocean
- J Balvin
- Lila Downs
- Los Ángeles Azules
- Maná
- Tyla
Who's performing at the World Cup final halftime show?

The FIFA World Cup final will take place on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
BTS, Madonna and Shakira will headline the game's halftime show, FIFA announced on May 14.
The show will raise funds for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to improve access to quality education and soccer for children around the world, FIFA said.
