Country star Justin Moore stops touring with Riley Green amid health concerns

Updated June 9, 2026, 5:19 p.m. ET
Country star Justin Moore announced that he is canceling the remainder of his current tour in order to focus on health issues with the support of his family. He had been scheduled to play a pair of sold-out concerts at the Bottle & Cork in Dewey Beach June 11-12 to a combined 2,400 fans.

Country singer Justin Moore has taken a step back from touring to address some new health concerns.

The "You, Me, And Whiskey" singer, 42, announced June 8 on Instagram that he will pause performing on Riley Green's "Cowboy As It Gets" tour to "take some time to focus on my health."

Moore, who dropped his latest album "This Is My Dirt" in October 2024, did not specify the length of the hiatus.

"I'll be stepping away from touring for a short period and will be unable to perform some upcoming shows. This is the right decision for me and my family, and I appreciate everyone's understanding and support," he wrote in the statement shared on Instagram. "I look forward to getting back out there later this summer and doing what I love most."

The Arkansas native's announcement came ahead of two concerts in Dewey Beach, Delaware, initially set for June 11 and 12.

He was also set to perform additional shows through the fall, with his last scheduled show on Nov. 26 in Montgomery, Alabama.

Justin Moore joins list of country artists to halt touring

Moore is the latest artist to announce a pause in performing in 2026.

Other country music acts from Meghan Patrick to Chase Rice have confirmed they will no longer tour this year due to various reasons, including exhaustion or to spend time with family.

Last month, Taylor Holder, 28, apologized to fans for cancelling his upcoming When No One's Around tour to prioritize his mental health amid recent struggles. In a May 12 Instagram post, he said he "can no longer ignore" the toll touring has taken on his mental health.

"I’ve tried for a while now to put my head down and just push through this and give everything I have to the music and the people who support me, but truthfully, I've reached my limit right now and I need to take a step back and focus on getting healthy," Holder wrote in the post.
