Jason Derulo falls on stage before gracefully catching himself: Watch
Jason Derulo falls with finesse.
During a performance Saturday, June 6 at Capital’s Summertime Ball in London, the "Whatcha Say" singer, 36, tumbled down on stage before catching his fall. Video shows the R&B pop star's fast reflexes as he falls back, uses his arms to rescue himself, and slides slightly.
"I survived," he quips as the crowd cheers the close call. He then giggles and continues his performance.
He was among the many artists at The Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium. Other acts included Calvin Harris, Raye, Niall Horan, Bebe Rexha and Lola Young.
His performance comes after he dropped part one of an EP titled "The Last Dance" in January featuring eight tracks.

Jason responds to his viral fall on social media
Fans applauded his grace, comparing his landing to a Marvel superhero and complimenting how good he looked during the tumble.
Derulo later reposted the viral clip on his TikTok page and wrote in the comments section: "How I fall for you every time."
His remark seemed to be a nod to a debunked decade-old theory that the musician fell at the 2015 Met Gala after a photo of someone resembling him falling was later confirmed to be a completely different person who fell at the Cannes Film Festival years earlier.
In 2015, Derulo clarified that he was not at the Met Gala that year and that he learned about the hoax after his concerned grandmother called. "Let’s clear one thing up, that was NOT me at the #Metgala y’all play too much, I was right on my balcony in Miami," he recalled in a 2019 post on X.
