Shania Twain is set to take the reins of the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards as the show returns to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 17.
The Canadian icon is one of the bestselling female country artists of all time with more than 100 million records sold globally. She rose to fame with blockbuster albums like "The Woman in Me" and "Come On Over," delivering crossover hits such as "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" and "You're Still the One" that helped redefine country-pop on a worldwide scale.
"I'm thrilled to be hosting the 61st ACM Awards in Las Vegas, a place that feels like home," Twain said in a press release. "I can't wait to welcome all of the fans and artists out for this unforgettable night."
Twain's hosting gig arrives during a year where women are leading the ACM nominations. Megan Moroney tops the list with nine nods, followed by Miranda Lambert with eight, while Ella Langley and reigning entertainer of the year Lainey Wilson each earned seven. Wilson is also among the list of performers announced along with Cody Johnson and Riley Green.
Fans can buy tickets to the show as well as two events happening the same weekend: ACM Lifting Lives Country on the Green and ACM Next Wave: Country's Beach Bash.

How to watch:
The 61st ACM Awards will stream live May 17, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET on Prime Video, with additional viewing options via Twitch and the Amazon Music app.
