“A Very Brady Renovation” tracks a second-story addition that's part of the reconstruction of the house featured on “The Brady Bunch.” Now, HGTV’s “Renovation” is getting its own second story, so to speak, with a two-episode extension called “A Very Brady Renovation: Behind the Build.”

The two-episode “Build” (Oct.  7 and 14, Mondays at 9 EDT/PDT) also features a drop-in visit by someone from "The Neighborhood" (the CBS sitcom kind): Cedric the Entertainer.

"Build" picks up a week after Monday's finale of the four-episode “Renovation,"  which has drawn strong ratings for the cable network as the original classic sitcom celebrates the 50th anniversary of its 1969 premiere.

The original Brady Bunch cast and HGTV hosts (left to right: Jasmine Roth, Karen Laine, Mina Starsiak, Susan Olsen, Mike Lookinland, Eve Plumb, Christopher Knight, Maureen McCormick, Barry Williams, Leanne Ford, Steve Ford, Lara Spencer, Jonathan Scott, and Drew Scott) recreate the iconic Brady family portrait at the recently renovated Brady home in Studio City, California, as seen on A Very Brady Renovation.

On Oct. 7, HGTV also is launching an eight-episode digital series, “Just Ask Brady,” with the actors who played the six Brady kids answering “answering America’s burning questions and (providing) inside scoop” on “Renovation.”

“Build” episodes include new guests and “feature never-before-seen renovated spaces in the ‘Brady Bunch; house, the do-it yourself projects used to create specific items … and extended room-reveal scenes with the ‘Brady Bunch’ cast.”

Besides Cedric, "Build" guests include Jerry Houser and Ron Kuhlman, who played Marcia and Jan Brady’s husbands on the "Brady Bunch" 1981 scripted spinoff, “The Brady Brides.”

As with “Renovation,” “Build” features the actors who played the Brady kids: Barry Williams (Greg), Maureen McCormick (Marcia), Christopher Knight (Peter), Eve Plumb (Jan), Mike Lookinland (Bobby) and Susan Olsen (Cindy).

They will be joined by the HGTV hosts working with them on Brady house construction:  Jonathan and Drew Scott ("Property Brothers: Forever Home"), Mina Starsiak Hawk and Karen E. Laine ("Good Bones"), Leanne and Steve Ford ("Restored by the Fords"), Jasmine Roth ("Hidden Potential") and Lara Spencer ('Flea Market Flip").
