The season before "Survivor 50" concluded in a grueling fight to the finish.

The "Survivor" Season 49 finale aired Wednesday night, Dec. 17, with an interruption from President Donald Trump's primetime address to the nation. Following Trump's remarks, the final five castaways fought for a chance to address the jury through their own speech and win $1 million.

Ultimately, only one contestant took home the money and the title of sole survivor after 26 days of backstabbing and starving on the island. The final five included three original Uli tribe members, one Hina member and one Kele member.

Here's how the finale played out for each of them.
