Jill Zarin cut from ‘RHONY’ reboot. See remaining 'Golden Life' cast.
Amaris EncinasThe show, which in this case is an upcoming "Real Housewives of New York" reboot, will go on without Jill Zarin.
Blink49 Studios confirmed to USA TODAY on Feb. 11 that Zarin, who faced backlash over comments she made about Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime performance, was dropped from the cast of "The Golden Life."
In a since-deleted Instagram video, Zarin called the reggaeton singer's set "the worst halftime show ever," criticizing his decision to sing almost exclusively in Spanish and complaining that there were "no white people" in the performance.
Produced by Blink49 Studios, the new docuseries features "Housewife" veterans as they "reunite with their iconic New York City friend group in glamorous Palm Beach."
Once reality TV royalty, the women will be filmed as they engage in the signature antics that made the original "RHONY" popular, including fighting, making up and rehashing years of drama.
"We’re thrilled to welcome reality TV royalty to E! for a reunion fans have been waiting for," Val Boreland, president of entertainment at Versant, said in a statement. "The energy within this group has always been electric and we’re excited to watch it unfold in a new chapter of life by the beach."
Versant, a media and entertainment company formed in 2026 as a spin-off of Comcast's NBCUniversal, houses major cable networks, including CNBC, MSNBC (MS NOW), USA Network, E!, Syfy and Oxygen.
