Will 'Paradise' end with Season 3? Creator, writer shares 'plan'
Taylor ArdreyWith Season 2 of Dan Fogelman's sci-fi thriller "Paradise" now underway, fans are curious about the future of the show.
The first three episodes follow Secret Service Agent Xavier Collins (Sterling K. Brown) after he leaves the underground bunker in search of his wife, Terry.
Fans also see the start of the apocalypse through the lens of Annie (Shailene Woodley), a med school dropout turned Graceland tour guide, who survives for years after the catastrophe.
Last year, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Fogelman explained the rollout of the Emmy-nominated series.
“We have this very precise three-year plan, and this next season coming is kind of the middle episode of our trilogy with also its own beginning, middle and end," Fogelman, also known for "This Is Us," told the outlet.
The screenwriter added, "We have a three-season story that’s bigger than what people think it is right now, and it’s going to span a couple of genres.”
When do new episodes of 'Paradise' Season 2 come out?
New episodes will premiere on Hulu on Mondays at 12 a.m. ET. The season consists of eight episodes, and the first three are currently available to stream.

'Paradise' writers knew where the storylines would go from the start
In a recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter, "Paradise" writer and executive producer John Hoberg gave insight into the development process.
"We knew we were in the bunker Season 1, and we knew we were going out and Xavier was going to look for his wife (in Season 2). We also knew that we were headed for a collision of two different worlds," Hoberg told the outlet. "So when you have that beginning and you know where you’re swimming to, you know the high points. We probably knew what the midpoint of Season (2) was and the final thing (of the season).
Hoberg continued, "There was a lot of debate over, 'When will Xavier get to Atlanta (where wife Terri is believed to be)? What’s going to happen along the way? How long do we want to be on the road?' Those are the things we really started to figure out."
