Margaret Josephs departing 'RHONJ' as Bravo confirms Season 15

March 25, 2026, 1:11 p.m. ET

Margaret Josephs is officially exiting the "Real Housewives" universe.

The 58-year-old fashion line owner announced her separation from the reality series in an Instagram post on Tuesday, March 24, saying she won't return to "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" after Season 14, which aired in 2024.

Fans have been left to speculate about a new season after the last RHONJ reunion was canceled in June 2024, and the show seemingly went on a production hiatus.

"I have to tell you something that may come as a little surprise to you, but not for me," Josephs said in her video post. "I've been thinking about a lot of different things, and I am moving on from the 'Housewives of New Jersey'.... I've been in the talks with the network and Andy (Cohen) since December, we've discussed it, and I think the timing is right."

Josephs, the owner/founder and designer of her lifestyle brand, Macbeth Collection, first joined the RHONJ cast in 2017, during Season 8. She shared an especially fractious relationship with longtime star Teresa Giudice and her husband, Louie Ruelas. Josephs previously expressed a desire to stop working with Giudice, whose difficult relationship with sister-in-law Melissa Gorga became a main storyline in Season 14.

"A lot of things have changed in my life," Josephs said. "I've been blessed to work on a different project, I'm on the set right now, and I realized I have to spend more time with my family, work on my designing and just take a break and move on."

'This will not be the last you guys see of me,' Josephs says

Margaret Josephs attends "The Housemaid" New York screening at 787 Seventh Ave on December 02, 2025 in New York City. Josephs recently announced that she will no longer be a cast member on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey."

The reality TV star thanked NBCUniversal, Bravo, Andy Cohen and the production support for her time on the show, adding that she was also thankful for her castmates, "the good and the bad."

"This will not be the last you guys see of me on television," Josephs continued in her post. "That's not a threat, it's a promise ... you will see me very, very soon back on your TV screens."

The news comes days after Bravo confirmed that filming for RHONJ would resume this spring, and three main cast members, Dolores Catania, Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga, would return.
