A new episode of NBC's Emmy-winning late-night comedy showcase isn't scheduled to air for another week. An episode that was previously broadcast will occupy "Saturday Night Live's" usual time slot on April 4.
"SNL" will release new episodes of its short-form digital series "The Rundown", where cast members old and new are tasked with crafting the perfect episode during those hiatus weeks.
New "Rundown" episodes drop Wednesdays, now through mid-June.
Actor and comedian Jack Black, fresh off the press run and premiere of "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie," will welcome folks back on April 4. Black is reprising his role as the sassy, if evil, Bowser in the sequel.
Joining Black at Studio 8H is musical guest Jack White, who will be taking the stage for the sixth time.
After the April 4 show, Jack will be inducted as the latest member of the sketch comedy show's famed "five-timers club," consisting of stars who have hosted that many times.

A Jack-on-Jack takeover is scheduled to air on April 4. "Anaconda" star Jack Black will be accompanied by that week's musical guest: Jack White.
According to NBC, White is set to take his sixth turn as musical guest in the upcoming episode. White, then part of the band The White Stripes, made his "SNL" debut in October 2002.

New episodes of "Saturday Night Live" air Saturday nights at 11:30 p.m. ET / 8:30 p.m. PT on NBC, with episodes streaming the next day on Peacock.
Old "SNL" episodes can be streamed anytime on Peacock.
