A cohost of the morning show and former White House strategic communications director, Griffin has been absent for several months on maternity leave after welcoming her first child with husband Justin Griffin.
Now, her "View" costar, Whoopi Goldberg, is revealing a return date for the conservative commentator. Griffin, 36, will be back at the hosting table on Monday, April 13. The show will air reruns the week of April 6 for the Passover holiday.

In Griffin's absence, "The View" tapped a series of conservative personalities to keep her seat warm alongside usual hosts Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Joy Behar, Sara Haines and Ana Navarro. The lineup included Republican politician Carly Fiorina and CNBC news anchor Sara Eisen, as well as Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Savannah Chrisley.

Griffin, who went through five rounds of in vitro fertilization treatment, said when she revealed her pregnancy on the show that she was "so overjoyed" by the family milestone.
