Ciara Miller breaks silence on 'Summer House' betrayal
Ciara Miller spoke out in a Glamour magazine interview about the "craziest part" of the drama on –and off – Bravo's "Summer House."
Anika ReedCiara Miller is speaking out for the first time about the offscreen drama that's rocked the Bravo-verse.
The "Summer House" star broke her silence in a new interview with Glamour published Friday, April 17, after her ex West Wilson and close friend Amanda Batula confirmed romance rumors with a joint statement.
In January Batula announced her separation from husband Kyle Cooke, another housemate on the reality series. The current 10th season captures their turbulent final season as a couple, as well as Miller's support of Batula throughout the discord.
"I've fought with your own husband to advocate for you. I have championed you. I have tried to be there in different ways for you and help you and get you to see your value in yourself," Miller told the outlet. "And so to be disregarded in such a disrespectful way is… Honestly, it's... I'm at a loss for words sometimes."

The reality TV star and model, 30, spoke cautiously yet candidly about the "Summer House" drama that's upended her personal life and drawn comparisons to similar a Bravo controversy, "Scandoval," which involved an affair between "Vanderpump Rules" stars Tom Sandoval and Rachel Leviss.
Miller said she has been very careful about how to address the issue. "I want to do it in my way, in a way that feels more intentional than just a podcast or a comment under a picture," she said.
Batula and Cooke have starred on the show, which follows a group of acquaintances who party in New York's ritzy Hamptons and share a house, since its 2017 debut. The show's first Black cast member, Miller joined during the fifth season of the show in 2021, and at the time was introduced as a potential romantic interest of former housemate Luke Gulbranson, but became good friends with the women in the house.
Wilson was introduced in Season 8, which launched Feb. 22, 2024. During filming, he and Miller grew close. They dated throughout the fall but ended things in December 2023.
"I'm just trying to make it to the reunion at this point," Miller said of this season's reunion, set to film later this month, admitting she's "a bit nervous." "The reunions are always mental warfare. Filming a reality TV show and then sitting at a reunion eight months later is not normal."

Ciara Miller reveals 'craziest part' of 'Summer House' romance drama
Last month, Batula and Wilson said they "wanted to provide some clarity," acknowledging "the growing online speculation" in a matching statement shared to their Instagram stories.
"We've shown up for each other as friends over the years," the statement said, "through all the highs and lows, and what's developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care… We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless."
Miller revealed that she had "less than 24 hours" notice before Batula and Wilson's statement. "One [notification] was about 45 minutes before." She also described her last conversation with Batula: "Minimal is all I'll say. Because that's something I will talk about at the reunion."
The influencer and travel nurse said she didn't expect this from Batula.
"At the end of the day, a guy's a guy. Whether or not West and I are working on a relationship, you just can't put anything past a man," she said. "But I just never would think that it would come from someone like Amanda, who has been what has felt like in my circle and in my corner for so long. I think that's the craziest part."

Will Ciara Miller be the new 'Bachelorette'? 'Summer House' star weighs in
Miller said she's "so happy being single. Honestly, I can't imagine anyone being in my apartment. I don't think it's a bad thing to be single."
But don't expect her to be on "The Bachelorette" anytime soon. "F--- no. I'm way too private," she told the outlet about her prospects of starring on the ABC dating show (which is experiencing its own reality TV drama after scrapping its recent season following allegations against its leading lady, "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" star Taylor Frankie Paul).
Miller is grateful, however, for the journey of being on reality television.
"I feel like I've met my greatest friends from reality TV. And it's truly taught me so much about myself and who I am and what I can endure. It's made me change in the best of ways."
