The marshals cannot catch a break.

After strategizing "a risky assault on a paramilitary compound" to rescue one of their own taken prisoner, the crew, in the upcoming episode of CBS Network show "Marshals," will now split up to "hunt down the escapees and triage the injured," following a prison bus crash.

Dutton family scion from "Yellowstone," Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) in the premiere episode of "Marshals", had decided to use "his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana" as a member of an elite U.S. Marshals unit. In a climactic scene during the premiere, Kayce had told Monica, he's "changing paths" and is going to join the U.S. Marshals in an attempt to "find a new beginning" for himself and their son, Tate (Brecken Merrill).

"Marshals" has already been renewed at CBS for Season 2 after being the most-streamed CBS series premiere ever, according to the network. The network added that the March 1 premiere of "Marshals" was watched by 20.6 million viewers on Paramount platforms within seven days.

When does the next 'Marshals' episode release?

Episode 10 of "Marshals," titled "Playing with Fire," will release Sunday, May 3, at 8 p.m. ET / PT on the CBS Television Network and will be available to stream on Paramount+, with new episodes dropping weekly on Sundays.
