May 12, 2026, 10:21 p.m. ET

Savannah Bananas fans are about to watch Jackson Olson move like never before.

During its Disney Upfronts presentation on May 12, ABC confirmed that the exhibition team's second baseman will join Season 35 of "Dancing with the Stars."

Maggie Sajak, the daughter of former "Wheel of Fortune" host Pat Sajak, wrote on her Instagram Story that she is "beyond proud" of her boyfriend, Olson, adding that "the dance floor better get ready."

Olson is the third cast member to be revealed, joining two "The Traitors" alumni, including "Summer House" star Ciara Miller and "Love Island" favorite Maura Higgins. The upcoming season, set to premiere this fall, has not yet announced its full cast of celebrities or their professional dance partners.

Season 34 of the dancing competition series concluded on Nov. 25 when wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin and pro partner Witney Carson took home the Mirrorball trophy.

Who is Jackson Olson?

Olson, 28, is an internet personality known for his involvement with the Savannah Bananas since 2022.

The Connecticut native graduated from the University of Hartford in 2020 and developed a following on social media before joining the Bananas. The team is part of the Banana Ball sports format, which combines standard baseball with eccentric entertainment elements from choreographed dance moves to sing-alongs.

With more than 1 million followers on Instagram and over 2 million on TikTok, Olson posts comedy skits, dance trends, and behind-the-scenes content from the Georgia-based baseball team.
