'Yellowstone' fan-favorites return in 'Dutton Ranch.' How to watch
"In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul."
Saman ShafiqGoodbye, Montana, and hello, Texas!
"Yellowstone" fan-favorite couple Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) and Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) are bidding goodbye to their Montana dwellings and starting a new chapter in South Texas in the upcoming "Yellowstone" spinoff, "Dutton Ranch."
"We've seen Rip and Beth for so long fighting for land that was theirs, the largest ranch in Montana," "Dutton Ranch" director and executive producer Christina Alexandra Voros previously told USA TODAY. "Now we find them pivoting to a new frontier, beginning their new world by themselves."
Voros said that while the couple is "looking for peace," "they learn there's always going to be people standing in front of the peace they're seeking."
"Wherever the Duttons go, they find trouble," Voros added.

In "Dutton Ranch," as Beth and Rip "fight to build a future together − far from the ghosts of Yellowstone − they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire," according to the series' synopsis.
"In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul," it added.
Voros, however, said the couple's Texas chapter is still "a new beginning, the kind of heartbeat and story of the American West."

Texas move a 'big shift' for the couple, says Reilly
While Reilly teased that the move is a "big shift," Hauser is sure that "Yellowstone" fans will come to love it as he has.
"Montana was the biggest character of (Yellowstone)," Reilly told USA TODAY. "So now we have a new character in Texas. We're sizing it up, and it's sizing us up as well."
Hauser added, "At times it's been very difficult. But the backdrop, in my opinion − our ranch, the topography, the sunsets − they are just to die for. The old audience that is used to Montana beauty will hopefully find beauty in Texas as well."
"Dutton Ranch" premieres as Dutton clan member Kayce (Luke Grimes) leads his own spinoff, the CBS series "Marshals" − without wife Monica Dutton (Kelsey Asbille), whose character tragically died since "Yellowstone." The show has already been renewed for a second season.
