'SNL' Season 51 finale airs tonight. See host, musical guest

After months of unforgettable skits and electrifying performances, Season 51 of the late-night comedy showcase is coming to an end tonight. The May 16 finale marks the return of Will Ferrell and Sir Paul McCartney.
The "SNL" veteran, who made his sketch debut in 1995, is "coming home" after nearly seven years away. Ferrell is set to star and executive produce Netflix's forthcoming comedy series "The Hawk," according to NBC.
In addition to memorable recurring characters like Spartan cheerleader Craig Buchanan and "Love-Ah" Roger Klarvin, Ferrell was known for celebrity impressions, including Harry Caray and of course, George W. Bush.

The star was also prominently featured in the iconic "More Cowbell" — a sketch so popular that an entire episode of the SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night documentary was based around it.
Joining Ferrell in Studio 8H is McCartney, whose been coy about the setlist for the big night. Set to grace the stage for the seventh time, McCartney's last "SNL" gig was in 2025, when he performed "SNL50: The Homecoming Concert."
