'House of the Dragon' Season 3 – Dragons burn up final trailer like never before
Bryan AlexanderHBO's "House of the Dragon" is unleashing the dragons in the final Season 3 trailer that dropped online May 29, close to a month ahead of its June start.
There's four − four! − winged beasts flying, breathing fire and blowing up ships in the soon-to-be-famous Battle of the Gullet, which showrunner Ryan Condal has called "arguably the craziest episode of television ever made."
Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy) is sure that the unleashed dragon airpower can defeat her rivals at King's Landing without even expending all their flames. Where have we heard that flawed war logic before?
"Their defeat is written," Rhaenyra says. "We'll secure the city without further bloodshed."
Fast forward to scenes of dead bodies piling up in the dirt as the bloodshed, battles and mayhem continues. Rhaenyra is suddenly dealing with internal criticism, possible rebellions, subjects spray-painting nasty stuff on the walls and self-doubt.
"You've come so far, yet you still don't know who you are," Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) tells her. Daemon rocks the trailer with blood on his face from sticking his sword into foes. He delivers the best droll line: "In a war, all suffer."

Dragons take the final bow after Rhaenyra demands, "Bring Aegon the usurper to me!"
We get a view of her beloved son Jace riding Vermax into the teeth of the battle.
