Trader Joe's customers are raving about "Cornbread Crisps," with many posting reviews about the trendy snack.

"Alright, I've been influenced. Y'all know why I'm here," a content creator says ahead of her review. "That man got on here, on this internet and got to speaking in tongues about these cornbread crispers, so let's see."

Although it's not new, the sweet and savory snack has become the seasonal favorite to beat this year, garnering widespread attention and acclaim after a series of stellar reviews blew up on TikTok.

Trader Joe's "Cornbread Crisps" have quickly become the talk of the town.

"Each bag of Trader Joe’s Cornbread Crisps start as a batch of traditionally fluffy, sweet, and moist Cornbread, which our supplier flattens and cuts into diamond shapes before roasting them to a golden brown Crisp," a product description on the grocery store chain's website reads. "They then add a touch of sea salt, for a sweet-savory balance to complement their satisfyingly crunchy texture."

Though "stupendous" as a standalone snack, the crisps are particularly "delightful" when served with a dip and "captivating" when crumbled over a bowl of chili or served with a soup, the description reads.

According to Trader Joe's, Cornbread Crisps were first introduced in stores in 2017 and have returned each year for a "limited time."

Jury's out on 'Cornbread Crisps:' Customer reviews vary

From self-proclaimed cornbread aficionados to snack lovers, many people have raced to their local Trader Joe's in the last few weeks to separate reality from "hype."

Kevin Fredericks, better known on social media as @KevOnStage, wasn't a huge fan, noting that while it tasted like "cornmeal cornbread, not like Jiffy," there was something about them that "didn't sit right" with him.

Fredericks concludes: "They're cool, but I don't like em' like that."

Some felt similarly, noting in the comments under Fredericks' review that the taste of cornbread was faint and the crisps themselves were "giving Wheat Thins."

Others felt that the crisps were either "pretty good" or "amazing," with few offering suggestions on how to make them better or incorporate them into a meal.

"Yall not seeing the vision. Imagine its Black Friday, the day after thanksgiving," one user replied. "You just got back from Best Buy getting your nephew the Nintendo Switch 2. You bust out the stuffing from last night and put it on these chips with a little leftover gravy drizzled."

How long will TJ's 'Cornbread Crisps' be available?

Trader Joe's Cornbread Crisps, like other seasonal products, are typically available from October through February, the grocery store chain confirmed in a statement.
