Trader Joe's mini canvas totes are back. What to know about the drop.

Dec. 11, 2025Updated Dec. 12, 2025, 12:37 p.m. ET

Trader Joe's mini totes are back again, and just in time for the holidays.

Nakia Rohde, company spokesperson, confirmed to USA TODAY on Wednesday, Dec. 10, that the viral bags would be restocked "later this week." The batch of "Mini Canvas Totes," which come in blue, red, yellow, and green, is only available for a "limited time," she added.

The bags are essentially the same as Trader Joe's original blue reusable bag, just smaller. Trader Joe's bags have amassed a cult-like following since March 2024, when they became so popular that customers waited in long lines to get their hands on them.

From "Trick-or-Treat Mini Canvas Totes" to Micro Totes, customers keep showing up for each new version of the bag, snatching them up almost as quickly as Trader Joe's can stock them.

Customers spotted the totes associated with the latest drop and hurried to acquire them, announcing on social media that the bags had been restocked and purchasing one or three for themselves.

When are Trader Joe's mini totes returning?

Trader Joe's "Mini Canvas Totes" may already be restocked at your neighborhood store, but the best way to confirm stock is by calling or visiting your local store this week.

"There are friendly Crew Members ready to help if any customers have questions about availability in their neighborhood Trader Joe’s store," Rohde said.
