Publix opening 3 new stores in July. See upcoming locations

Publix is set to open new stores in July, further expanding its footprint in its home state of Florida as the grocery chain continues steady growth across the Southeast.

The openings, scheduled between July 2 and July 16, include three locations in Florida, according to Publix’s “New Store Openings” page. The additions build on the company’s network of more than 1,400 stores across eight states.

The grocer operates locations in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. Publix was founded in 1930 in Winter Haven, Florida, by George W. Jenkins and now employs more than 260,000 people, according to the company.

Where is Publix opening stores?

Three locations are scheduled to open between July 2 and July 16:

  • 1421 Sadler Road, Fernandina Beach, Florida – July 2
  • 4601 9th St. N, Naples, Florida – July 2
  • 1075 Brookstone Road, Winter Haven, Florida – July 16

The upcoming stores come on the heels of four other openings in June in Florida and Kentucky:

  • 16642 SR 64 E, Bradenton, Florida – June 11
  • 5401 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, Kentucky – June 17
  • 8710 W Lake Ruby Drive, Winter Haven, Florida – June 18
  • 42660 Hwy 27, Davenport, Florida – June 25
