This new Airbnb feature delivers groceries before you get there
For many Airbnb guests, the first stop is the grocery store to stock up on food. But Airbnb has a new solution if grocery shopping isn't part of your dream getaway.
A new feature allows guests to order groceries to their rental in advance and, at some homes, even have the host stock the fridge before they arrive.
The service is powered by Instacart, which manages the ordering and delivery, according to a recent press release. So far, the delivery feature is only available in about 25 U.S. cities, including Los Angeles, Atlanta and Nashville.

How to order groceries to Airbnb ahead of check-in
When booking a stay, guests can check the Trips website section to see whether grocery delivery is available for their reservation, according to Airbnb.
They can shop for groceries directly with Instacart within the Airbnb website or app, and complete checkout and payment without leaving the platform. This is available beginning three weeks before check-in and throughout their stay.
If their host offers kitchen stocking, guests can add their Airbnb host as the delivery recipient. The host will coordinate with the Instacart shopper and organize the groceries so everything is put away in the cabinets and refrigerator before the guest checks in.
When offered, kitchen stocking comes at no additional cost, Airbnb said.
Kitchen stocking isn't available for alcohol due to legal and age-verification requirements, but guests can order it themselves once they've checked in, the company said.
Deal for $0 delivery and $10 off grocery orders of $50+ from Instacart
Airbnb guests staying in select areas can get $0 delivery and $10 off grocery orders of $50 or more from Instacart through June 30, the company said.
