Trader Joe’s new large lavender canvas tote bag has been officially released. Here’s a first look at the latest limited canvas tote.

It’s large lavender canvas tote bag day at Trader Joe’s stores across the United States as the specialty grocer’s latest limited bag is officially out Monday, March 23.
The spring-themed tote is the third for Trader Joe’s large canvas bags, the original in blue and a limited green color released in December.
Shoppers lined up outside Trader Joe’s Reno store at the Shayden Summit mall just before the 8 a.m. opening Monday morning.
Although the line was much shorter compared to that of the viral mini canvas totes last year, the large canvas bags eventually sell out as well.
The large green tote sold out shortly after release, and the regular large blue bag has been sold out at Reno stores since it was last restocked in February.
Trader Joe’s Reno stores at the Summit mall and South McCarran Boulevard are selling the lavender bags for $3.99 with a limit of four per customer. Some stores are reporting limits of two and even one bag per customer, depending on the location.
The new lavender large tote, first reported by the Reno Gazette Journal earlier this month, features the same light purple trim and pink logo as one of the four pastel mini canvas bags.
The launch was preceded by a re-release of the pastel mini canvas totes earlier this month. Trader Joe’s also re-released the original blue, red, green and yellow mini canvas totes last December.
Trader Joe’s canvas bags have gone viral in the last few years, reaching popularity not just in the United States but as popular souvenirs overseas in countries such as Japan and the Philippines.
