See Joseph Gordon-Levitt walk 'The Walk' and talk... with a French accent

For an American actor, we don't know which is scarier: talking in a French accent or walking on a tightrope.

Well, Joseph Gordon-Levitt does both in the new trailer for Robert Zemeckis movie The Walk.

Gordon-Levitt plays Phillippe Petit, a real French high-wire artist who walked a tightrope between the Twin Towers in 1974. (Wait, did we just give the movie away? Sorry. You saw the Oscar-winning documentary about Petit called Man on Wire, right?)

We're excited to see more sweeping aerial shots and pulse-racing wire walks when the movie comes out in 3D in October. If you're in New York, you can see the movie even before then as it's opening the New York Film Festival on Sept. 25.
