5 things to binge-watch this weekend: Weepy edition

Are you ready for a fun weekend of sobbing uncontrollably? We certainly are.
With Me Before You hitting theaters and promising to tug on our every heartstring, we've rounded up some of our favorite very, very sad TV shows and movies, beyond The Notebook. We provide the binge-watching material. You probably have to get your own tissues.
1. Parenthood
Watching Parenthood requires a lot of emotional effort, we won't beat around the bush. You are always crying when you watch this show. Always. Don't even get us started on a certain cancer storyline. We're crying right now.
2. Grey's Anatomy
Need we say more than the title of this show to get the waterworks going. Pick an episode, any episode, watch it and cry. It's as easy as that. Our personal pick would be season 2's "Into You Like a Train," in which two survivors of a train crash are impaled by the same pole, and only one can survive. As much as the episodes about Meredith and McDreamy could get us, this one about two guest-stars somehow hurts the most. But seriously, there are 12 seasons of this. It can serve you for many weekends to come.
3. Parks and Recreation
Parks and Rec, while one of our favorite sitcoms of all time, has the uncanny ability to make us cry. Sometimes it's a happy cry (see: any engagement or wedding episode), and sometimes it's a little sad (see: any breakup), but we always feel so much better afterwards. Because this is a show that makes you feel good.
4. The Fault in Our Stars
Me Before You's clear predecessor is TFIOS, which follows two young teens battling cancer who fall in love. We'd say you'd laugh and you'd cry, but mostly you'll cry.
5. Million Dollar Baby
If we're going to get very personal about this, Clint Eastwood's boxing drama is the movie that makes us cry the most out of any movie. Ever. Also very relevant to Me Before You (they both involve a disabled person considering euthanasia), it is worth revisiting any time. Even if you don't feel like crying. It's worth it.
