Christmas Eve was anything but a silent night for a family in Greensboro, North Carolina.

For 57-year-old Melissa, a pajama party seemed like a new and wonderful Christmas Eve tradition. Little did she know, the dress code was a jolly ruse to deck the halls with squeals of joy.

With the rest of the family dressed in holiday pajamas, the couple walked out with “Mommy” and “Daddy” written on theirs. Although it took a moment for Melissa to notice, her surprised reaction to the big reveal was the best Christmas gift ever.
